I like to think of the blue slopes at a ski resort as a metaphor for my graduate studies at Northwestern—a place to practice and sharpen my skills. I’m preparing for the black diamond slopes ahead, which I see as the Earth itself, where I can take on the challenges of fulfilling my responsibilities as a designer to the environment.
